Temporary Host Family

So, my host family is out of town, so I'm with a temporary host family for now.
The adventure so far:

I have a grandfather who is 102. One. Hundred. And. Two. I'm living with a century-man!
The second day with them, we went went to Sannomiya, where I had my first chocolate cornet (a la Lucky Star) and curry-an (a la Black Butler). Both are amazingly amazing. We also went to a small sort of China town, which was pretty cool.
The day after that, we went to Himeji, and saw Himeji Castle. Kinda.
The actual castle is undergoing repairs, but I still got to see some of it :D It was reallly cool. Japanese castles are awesome.
My temp host mom asked what I wanted to be when I get older. I told her I wanted to be a research scientists. So they took me to an awesome synchrotron radiation facility called SPring 8. Nerdgasms everywhere.

Also, if you've been following my vlog as well, you may have noticed that I haven't posted anything since i've been here. I have plenty of video, I just need to edit it together. I dunno when I'll have the time to do that, but I'll try to do it soon.
