First day of School (Kinda)

School officially started today. I went in, but the exchange students won't start classes until the fifth. We have to get our uniforms and go through a sort of orientation first. But here's what DID happen:

I got to the school, dressed in a makeshift uniform consisting of a dress shirt and dress pants. Me and the other exchange students went to the cultural exchange room (cause that's an actual thing) and introduced ourselves to each other (the exchange students consist of: 4 Australians, 2 Canadians and 1 German), a few students and 2 teachers. The students we met were named Yukari and Hiede Kaede. Hiede Kaede seemed pretty cool, as she seemed to warm up to us fast (as when we were walking down some stairs, she gave me a friendly slap to the belly). I like it when people become comfortable quickly. 

(Short back story: my school is a Buddhist school) Next was the opening ceremony. I couldn't understand a word but WE DID A BUDDHIST THING. I think it was a prayer of some kind. But OH MY GOD I GET TO BE BUDDHIST FOR A YEAR. I've always thought it was a beautiful religion. Now I get to experience it :D

Also, we're apparently going on a trip to Kyoto with the 3rd years on Friday. That's gunna be awesome. Kyoto. I'm excited. (Otaku moment: K-ON is based in Kyoto. I wanna see the places seen in the anime :D)

I'm gunna be in the 3rd year class until October, then I'm going to the first year class. I forgot the reasoning behind it, but It made it make sense.

I'm so excited for Monday, cause it'll be a full day of school. Every other Saturday is a half day of school.
