The atmosphere seems to be a lot more relaxed (with good reason: 3rd years have university entrance exams to study for).
There were four guys in particular that were excited to meet me. They're really funny. Typical high-school boys though XD There was one point when we were in the cafeteria, and one of them said to another "You're really short", to which he responded "Yeah, but this can cause an earthquake", motioning to his 'Bayonet'.
I guess everywhere you go, dirty jokes will be amusing.
As I don't have any textbooks yet, I didn't really do much in class except study or hear (as opposed to ' 'listen to') what the teacher was saying. Except music, because that's more of a singing class. I'm not too keen on singing, but it's something new to try out.
I have a feeling biology and physics aren't going to be understood for another while yet, which makes me kind of sad because I love science.

As well, I've joined two clubs: the art club and the Koto club.
Art has been a more recent interest of mine, so I figured I'd see if I could learn something from the club. As well, the atmosphere of the art room is amazing. It's so rustic and homely, with paint splotches and other typical art-type messes.
The koto club was fun when I went to test it out, so I figured I'd join it and get better. It's also a good way to experience something fundamentally Japanese.
Now that I'm in a new class and clubs, I have a lot more people to meet and new things to do. I look forward to what the future has in store.
