Orientation, Meetings and Visa application-ing

So, today was my orientation.
We went over rules (No drinking/drugs, no driving, we have to go to school etc.) and procedures for things liek ways to get money to Japan, and who you have to notify if you want to go somewhere (not EVERYWHERE, but if you want to take like a day trip or something [i forget the rules on over-night trips. I'll update that tomorrow] then you need to let a bunch of different people know)

I'll probably make another post tomorrow going into greater detail. It's 12:26am and I'm tired.

I also got to meet the other exchange students from YESCanada that are going to Japan.
Raiky, who's going to be on an island kinda near-ish Tokyo if I remember correctly, and Ivana, who's going to the same school as me.
Small world, huh?
They both seem really cool. We we're all really kinda quiet though.
Meeting new people will do that to you. Especially if you're me :c

The last thing we did today was apply for our visas.
The place where our orientation was wasn't far from the Japanese Consulate, so we walked there as a group and handed in our applications together.
So we should all have that within the next week or two.

The fact that I'm leaving kinda sunk in a bit more as well. I guess applying for the visa made me realize that this is actually happening.
